| Yesterday morning a Wal-mart employee was trampled to death because a crowd of people couldnt wait for 2 more minutes to get "that good deal" even though they had already been waiting in line for a day. However, even when they knew the man was down and hurt, nobody stopped to help him, presumably because they were afraid someone else would get the deals before they did. Come on people, what is a life worth! Definitely more than the few hundred bucks you were gonna save on that 52" flat screen plasma tv, even though you already have a 32" inch screen that works fine. Now before you start thinking I have something against Black Friday, I don't. I went out at midnight and caroused around till 4 in the morning and was able to save money on some shoes:). Still, you know something has gone horribly wrong when a person gets killed just so some other person can save some money. That's just messed up, I don't care who you are. Ok, so there is my rant about America. But wait, there's more.:) I also saw something else while I was shopping. I saw a couple buying toys for their son. Now I don't know how old their son was, but they were buying him a WWE wrestling belt, and a WWE action figure. Maybe that's what is wrong with America. We have gone from having heroes such as George Washington or Abraham Lincoln, men who were great leaders and had integrity, honesty, and courage, to idolizing a bunch of fakers who think that they're something else just because they can beat the crap out of some other guy for no other reason than to get paid. So there are some of the thoughts that are wandering through my mind. And believe me, there's a lot more I could say, but I think that is enough ranting for now. | ok so sorry i havent updated in so long... our internet has been really screwed up. i really havent been up to much, just workin nd partyin every chance i get :) im bak in skool, nd plannin on bein dun december 19th. | hellor porples, uhh i mean peoples. ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm, yaaaa, weeeeblloooooog, yaaay. wow its been along time since i have posted, since then i have went on a class trip and a canoe trip, both of which i should really post pictures of. All the boys in 6-12 grade and our teacher went on a canoe trip about a week ago. Our teacher made us all keep a journal, so I'm kind of waiting to get mine back so I can do a detailed post on all the great and wonderful things which we did. In other news, I heard the other day that eating bugs is good for you and the environment.... barf. "I bought an electric car the other day in order to help the environment. What are you doing for the environment?" "I'm eatin buuugs." yaaaaa. lol I can just see McDonalds improving the healthiness of their food by comin out wit a bug burger..... and Planters would start selling honey-roasted cockroaches.... uhhh-huhhh haha OK so just so you all know, I don't buy into all this global-warming-the-environment-is-being-destroyed crap anyway, so you won't catch me eating bugs to save the environment! I'll leave that for the dimwits that support people with the last name of Clinton, Gore, or Obama. lol Ok, well i should probably be off, I've been washing out hog buildings for our neighbor, and I still have half a building left that I want to finish today so ima get to it. ok so until next time, don't do nething I wouldn't do... which includes drinking bug juice:) ttyl KRLIN | | |
| hello one and all and everyone in between :) not much has happened since last post.... and in another way, a lot has happened since last post. For those of u who don't know already, I went to the Dr. on Thurs. for a pre-surgery visit. They basically just asked some questions and took some bloodwork to make sure I was good to go. Then Friday morning I went in for ear surgery. I had a hole in my eardrum and so they basically just put a patch on it and packed some stuff in their to hold it in place until it hopefully heals. So in about 4-5 weeks I am gonna go back in to take the stuff out and see if it healed. Other than that, nothing much has happened because I have basically just been laying around, I am not really supposed to do much so.... my life this wkend has been pretty dull, but I got a lot of sleep in which is always good. :) so, there u have it, another slightly not-so-great post from..... meeeeee KRLIN | | |
| hmmm.... sooooo..... i lied :) but i really was going to! neways i really don't have much to post. which is why almost never post. life pretty much just keeps on going around and around, it seems like the routine never changes and nothing out of the ordinary happens, which drives me crazy sometimes! I try to go boarding as often as I can, went last sat. wit my cousins and my cousin larhea broke her arm :( i went boarding agin yesterday with my sis and her husband and a couple of guys from our youth group. I keep wanting to post pics but (a)the laptop acts cantankerous and doesn't feel like helping me upload pics, and (b) kevin has it with him in ohio right now neway :( but hopefully i can find time to do that before long. well, i g2g. ttyl *EDIT* Ok so does everybody know what Lent is?? well i barely do... Google's good :) Neway so there were these teenagers that decided that for Lent they're gonna give up blogging for forty days !!! lol that strikes me as slightly weird...
